Sabine Winton (Member for Wanneroo), Margaret Quirk (Member for Girrawheen), Jessica Stojkovski (Member for Kingsley), Janine Freeman (Member for Mirrabooka) and Caitlin Collins (WA Labor Candidate for Hillarys) are working together with the WDNA to advocate for an upgrade to the Association’s 114 goalposts and nets which will cost around $80,000.
With 57 courts, over 500 teams and 6000 club members, WDNA is the largest netball association in Western Australia and these upgrades will benefit thousands across our Northern Suburbs community and continue to help the WDNA thrive.

Our last petition for upgrades resulted in the McGowan Government’s significant contribution to the recent refurbishments to the pavilion and change rooms. We are committed to supporting the WDNA and netball in the Northern Suburbs and we need your help once again!

“Netball post technology has come a long way since 2009 when our posts and nets were last replaced. A vital component of this is the replacement of the 114 goal post and nets as these are an integral part of the game of netball.

Community netball plays such a big part in the lives of our young girls and boys, and also our teenagers and adults. It is important to be able to offer the best facilities possible”
